Erik Schraga, MD is a Saratoga native. He is a graduate of the prestigious Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Washington and a residency in Emergency Medicine at UCLA. He currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mills-Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame, CA. He is also a Chief Editor for Medscape/WebMD, specializing in Emergency Medicine procedures, which has always been his strong focus clinically. Dr. Schraga Is passionate about the mission to revolutionize medical delivery in a patient-centered approach. His goal is to minimize suffering in all regards, whether it be from pain, fear, or financial hardship, and believes that his team of clinicians is ideally suited to do it promptly and in one’s own home. He recognizes the extraordinary barriers in the current healthcare system and is dedicated to working with his patients to overcome these unnecessary hindrances, as nobody should be denied physical or mental wellness.
At Bay Mobile Urgent Care, we treat patients of all ages from birth to far beyond. Dr. Schraga is adept at an extensive range of procedures and is equipped to do so in your own home, including treatment of lacerations, broken bones, nose bleeds, foreign bodies, and boils. We bring medications and IV fluids into your own home so you can rest and stay out of the ER.
We are not primary care doctors but know that seeing your own doctor can be difficult. We also know that seeing a mental health professional can be extraordinarily hard. We are here initiate care and headed in the right direction in coordination with your doctor. If you don't have one, we can help with that, too.
